I've used TSX (and then TTSX) pretty much exclusively since '04 for the majority of my hunting. A Frames and solids for Africa. But for pretty much everything else it has been TSX.

Never had a reason to look elsewhere. Tried a few of the similar CEB look-alikes but couldn't get them to group.

I literally just saw the Nosler E tip for the first time a minute ago. Are they any good? There are no bands/grooves- do they suffer from pressure spikes?

I firmly believe in the opposite of good is perfect, and have no reason to change, but I'd burn $50 just for fun.................anyone else use these bullets. Any good?

I've never heard of them but I have had good results with the Partition Gold bullets that Nosler + Win. made several years ago called 'Combined Technology'

I just stumbled on Hammers also. They look very interesting. More so than the Noslers. I'll probably order some of those.

I'm surprised that you guys haven't heard of the E-tips. I believe they have been around for over a decade.

I tried them once in an 06 and couldnt get them to group. They seemed outdated even ten years ago. Just a long for weight copper bullet with a plastic tip.

Since then I've mostly stuck with the TSX, TTSX and the Hornady GMX. I've had great luck with all three, and their performance on game is unbelievable.

Hunting in Africa is an adventure. The number of variables involved preclude the possibility of a perfect hunt. Some problems will arise. How you decide to handle them will determine how much you enjoy your hunt.

Just tell yourself, "it's all part of the adventure." Remember, if Robert Ruark had gotten upset every time problems with Harry
Selby's flat bed truck delayed the safari, Horn of the Hunter would have read like an indictment of Selby. But Ruark rolled with the punches, poured some gin, and enjoyed the adventure.

Have used them for deer and elk with no problems. I load them in 6mm, 25, 30 and 338 and have had no issues getting them to shoot well.

I use the 100 grain E-Tips for my .257 Wby and 25 WSSM. I get 3650 fps through the .257 Wby with great accuracy. Makes an excellent bean field Deer round. I managed to buy enough to last many moons for me and mine. Good Shooting.

They should work fine.

Made of solid copper with the hollow point with a plastic tip.

I am sure that plastic point makes no difference they had left it out.
