I have been looking at a 6.5 mauser. I was told it was a 93. It has a fagin full stock and a weaver 4 power scope. The barrel is 18.5 inches long. The gun looks nice and Iam interested in the cal. But I am curious about the gun its self. It is a 6.5x55 stamped Carl Gustaf Stads. Any info would be helpful

It's too bad the original stock isn't there, and it's been drilled. With that barrel length, it may have been a rare engineers' model, worth mucho dinero.

It is a Carl Gustav m96 if the steering rim is placed on the bolt instead of the action!
