I was wondering if anyone had any loads they would share for the barnes XBT 100gr. bullets I just got. I dont have a Barnes book so I was thinkin this would be the place to look. The powders I have right now are IMR4831, IMR4895, Re19 & Re22. Are there any loads for the 100gr. Barnes I can use this powder with? Thx Will | ||

Quoting from Barnes #3 manual 100Gr XBT/XFB (NOTE: If you are using XLC's data is different) RE19 Start 51.0gr 3062fps Max 55.0 3302fps (Fastest load listed) RE22 Start 51.0 3048fps Max 55.0 3287fps IMR4831 start 49.0 2975fps Max 53.0 3218fps IMR4895 is outside the range of propellants usually used for the 25-06 Other good propellents: XMR3100 H4350 IMR4350 H450 If I provoke you into thinking then I've done my good deed for the day! You are quite welcome! I burned up my last 25-06 barrel before I ever saw a Barnes X bullet, but my 25-06 always worked best with IMR4350.
