got 1 from my bucket list today... AMT .44 Automag… anybody else shoot one??.. I got some factory ammunition.. about 30 rounds.. plus a few emptys, in the deal... I know that brass can be made from 30-06, .308 etc...I found brass on midway for $38//100.... but would appreciate any wisdom anyone has to offer... thanks, Jim.. go big or go home ........ A friend had one. To function loads need to be near max. Keep clean and oiled. Hang on tight, limp wrists equal a jam. M | |||

I have a 357 Automag that I quite enjoy. Starline makes brass, there lots of loads available on the internet.Learn the maintenance tricks (most important is to make sure the guide rods are screwed tight...) Parts are unobtanium. | |||

Get a recoil buffer installed in it. They're notorious for cracking frames. Phil | |||
