bradheyes, the oregon trail bullets are good
Back when the .45 ACP was competitive in IPSC people shot millions of the H&G 68 copy bullets a year

p dog shooterYes the 45acp is almost made to shoot cast bullets in they work great.
Even better when you cast your own for very cheap.

TEANCUMI shoot 95% of my 45ACP loads with cast lead bullets.
It does take more care when reloading with OAL and any bulges that may appear.
As stated, Glock discourages the use of lead bullets as well as ANY reloads to be fired through their barrels. My experience is that some Glock barrels are ok with lead bullets and others will lead up fast. Best to experiment if you are shooting a Glock and visually review the results.
Some guys will move on to aftermarket barrels with more standard cut rifling and I've done that with two of my Glocks. I bought KKM after a couple of disasters with Lone Wolf Barrels.
