I just saw an ad for Hornady brass in 6.5-284 caliber. Does anyone know if Hornady makes the brass themselves, or is it made for them? Given that this caliber is often used by long range target shooters, and Norma seems to be the current supplier of choice, I don't think many would be too impressed if this brass is actually made by Olin.
I guess time will tell if it's uniform brass.

I'm unclear on what the problem is with Olin. Please, enlighten me. Don't they make Winchester brass? Most folks I know seem to think it's quality brass.
Thanks, RSY

I can't remember why or when but, I swear at one time a few years back I saw a chart that said that certain calibers were made by win and that some were made by rem. Can't say if its true today. Plus, you never know they may specify slightly different tolerances that those guys might normally produce.
