Looking for a good powder for the 300 rum.
i have allready used Rl22 and H4831
for 180gn bullets but not happy with results.
Any suggestions!

my rifle prefers r-25.I use a maximum of 96 gr and get 3375fps and accuracy averages 1/2" with my rifle.

I switched from RL25 to Retumbo in both of my 300 RUM 1000 yard Match gun's.Not gonna post the load's here,but it does give higher velocity with the same accuracy at the 25.....

Mine likes 94gr of IMR 7828. I have Rel 25 to try one of these days. Retumbo, not in this area yet.

I can't find that Retumbo. I have looked everywhere. But the best powder I have found out of Re22, Re25, H1000 and Norma MRP is the H1000. Never tryed anything faster than Re22 yet. Figured I could try something faster burnin for 150gr or 165gr.
