375 RUM, 260gr AB. 90gr H4350, 3.663 OAL, 2890fps.

Works wonders on deer. Shot one a little (okay, a lot) high ended up breaking both shoulderblades and spine and exiting. Deer was at 170yd. I have an aimpoint zero mag red dot on it, supposed to be my timber/swamp gun. Ended up hunting over a food plot under high tension power lines. Bullet did not blow up too much meat considering how many bones that was broken.

I've used NBTs on all sizes of North American big game with many one shot, humane kills. This includes many elk and caribou. I like the 30 caliber 180 NBT for the larger species, and they have been deadly at all ranges. Any deviations from these optimal results were the result of bad shooting on my part - that is, I didn't hit the boiler room. When one misses the vital area, the animals run and can be lost no matter what bullet you are using.

Something of note, I love my 180 NBT in my '06AI. They are VERY accurate, cheap and consistent.....until my best friend, when working up some loads, the other day in his Jim Borden built 300 WSM found 11 of 50 in a new box were .022" longer than the rest. He tried to call Nosler yesterday but they are closed for the week.
