Just about to load some ammo for my 9.3x74 and wondering which is best for it magnum or standard primers my rel manual doesnt state which type to use or is best thanks

It's a long case, but you will probably be loading med. burners. I use std. primers in my .338x74K. I've tried magnum primers but accuracy suffers a bit.

For easily ignited powders like RL-15 I use Win WLR primers. For less rapidly igniting powders I use FED 215s.

Seems to provide very consistent ammunition.

I have used medium burning powders (Tubal 3000 or Norma 202) and standard primers (CCI 200) in my double with very good results in accuracy and speeds. I have gor worse results with magnum primers, specially with the precision.

I have loaded 9,3x74R with CCI benchrest primers (BR2), with good results. If you need more suggesttions try out www.reloadersnest.com Lots of loads there.
