Nice score vines!
I've used that powder in a couple cartridges but never those you mentioned so I can only quote "the book".

56gr of Reloder-22 and a 100gr Nosler SPFB.
I would start with 54 grains and work up.
What is the rifling twist of your barrel?
"I have plenty of manuals showing the standard rifling twist of the .25-06 rifles"
Two can play that game.
Since the cartridge started out as a Wild-Cat, rifling twist were not standardized.
If you have the varmint barrel the above load is safe. If you have the faster twist rate for the heavier bullets it is not safe.
When in doubt, use your cleaning rod and a tight fitting patch and a tape measure to be sure.

Be aware that RL-22 (Norma MRP) tends to vary somewhat between lots. Check the lot numbers on the two canisters and if they are different then it would be best to pour them together and thoroughly blend them. That way the full two pounds will behave the same and you won't get a surprise when you run out of one and start using the other.

yes i have mixed 2 lbs together before of others powders, but these 2 - 2.5 lbs of RL-22 is in a 5 lbs container 3 years old. a lady gave it to me, after her dad passed away. but i did pay $40.00 bucks for about 6 lbs of WC844 in a 8 lb. container, dated 2014.. I really dont have a mag type rifle to load the RL-22 but i think im gonna load the WC844 for my M1A 7.62 spring field and maybe my AR15 5.56

Your .25-06, .270 and .280 will perform extraordinarily well with RL22. No need to append the term "magnum" to a cartridge for RL-22 to do well in it. Lots of guys swear by a case full behind a 180 grain bullet in a .30-06.

WC844 -- the military counterpart of H335 -- is great in the .223/5.56. In fact, it was designed expressly for that caliber. It works in .308/7.62N, but as case size increases pressures can spike unexpectedly with a very slight overload. So, approach full power loads in the .308 with a bit of extra caution when using WC844.

I use many powders shooting all my rifles from .223 Rem to .416 Rigby, leaning to the fastest Magnum chamberings. RL-22 is my go to powder for .257 Wby, 7mm STW, .300 Winny, .338 Lapua, 358 STA, .416 Rigby and others. I have shot in excess of twenty pounds over the years and have that much on hand for the future. It is truly my magic powder that I have shot it all over North America and Africa from 20 below zero up to 100 degrees with no decernable differences in performance for this hunter and shooter. For what it is worth, this is how I do it with that great powder. Good Shooting.
