I recall a recent post about a poster not being able to contact Hawk bullets..Id like to order a few 100 for my 38-40 Win and 348 Win. Are they still in business??

A thread I read recently suggested Hawk is out of business? Thats what I was referring to as I also have not been able to contact them..They made some good 38-40 and .348 bullets that performed well on game with those low velocities for me some time ago, and I need to replenish my supply..

The web page is pretty defunct it appears..

I just got off the phone with them. Yes, they are still in business.

Their website says to simply send them an email to order. I tried that a couple of months ago and got no response.

So did I. Maybe just need to call if they will answer.

They are essentially the same as the original Barnes bullets. I still have a few of those for 338.

not yet, I have about 150 180 gr. jacketed hollow points loaded up for my 38-40 win. 92, and I have 200 new starline brass, but no more bullets..Im also wanting .348 jacketed bullets for my 71 ackley and 45-70 bullets..Having difficulty locating jacketed bullet availability and not interested in lead bullets..

I believe Barnes copied the groves that Hawk was putting in their Bullets.

Snapper, Barnes copied GS Customs grooves..both being monolithic..

Got in touch with Hawk, and ordered some bullets in stock and they took my order to make some not in stock...This new guy is good to do business with.

He had 200 348 350 gr. sp instock and I received them in just a few days..much needed, thank you sir.
