My guess is nosler sells the "seconds" to public so as to not upset the wholesalers and retailers. Noslers seconds are a great deal. I also shoot seconds from some of the other manufactures. These can be a mixed batch and some are out right crooked, bent and mixed ogives. I've never had any problems with the Noslers.

I use them for all my hunting..Those weights are close engouh for benchrest shooting...they are the deal of the century....

Every box of Hornady bullets I've ever loaded varied that much and I never had a problem.
