Ther original loading was a 0.299", 213-grain, lead bullet.

This was followed by a steel-capped lead bullet.

This was followed by a 190-grain jacketed round-nose bullet.

This was followed by a 174-grain, spitzer, boat-tail bullet of "0.308" diameter.

Schmidt-Rubins are available in two models, the Model 89 and the Model 1911. The 89 is much weaker than the 1911.

As for loading, I would suggest:
H-4831 From 45.0 grains to 55.2 grains
Winchester WLR Primer

Excuse me if I'll write in Italian.
Trautman,
innesco RWS 5341 LR oppure Federal Gold Match,
bye
