If anyone has and uses the cover for the RL550B, will it work with the strong mounts in place? Do you like it/would oyu recommend paying almost $25 for it, or will a plastic bag suffice? I ask this because a local reloader uses them on his bench. Looks a tad junky, but his stuff is clean and dry...

For all of my reloaders I use old tee shirts. My wife sews the neck hole shut.
This even works on my P/W Shotshell reolader as well as the large progressive rifle shell reloaders. I use my favorite shirts that I have worn enough that my wife will nolonger allow me to wear.
I would save the $25 for bullets! Big Grin

I have the Dillon factory cover for my 550B. It works well with the strong mount system.

The Dillon cover works perfectly with my 650 on strong mounts. I'm sure that there are any number of ways to keep 'em covered but not that look as cool as the Dillon one.........DJ

An old pillow case can be sewn to fit. I'll spend my $25 on more bullets/powder.etc.
