My rifle shoots these extremely well. I was wondering if anybody could tell me what components(in particular the bullet) Federal
use in these as I would like to try to duplicate they with my home loads.

Thanks in advance,

Peter

Federal classic bullets are usually made by Federal themselves.

The powder is bound to be Alliant Rel 15.

The best you can do to duplicate, is a 150 gr Hornady or Sierra in a Federal case with a Fed 210 primer and Rel 15 powder.

Thanks Terry,

Upto now, my best results have been with Speer 150grn flat based Spire Points but I have had trouble getting them locally here. I am currently using BL(C)-2 but will give the Reloader 15 a try next time. I think I might also start comparing the length of my reloads (on the ogive) to that of the factory Federal stuff.

Thanks again,

Pete
