Those two loads will put a damper on just about an animals day.

Those are both great hunting bullets, and .5 MOA accuracy to boot.

Do you use a muzzle brake when shooting from the bench? 115 grains of propellant has to generate quite an "equal and opposite reaction" !!!

That's some kinda shootin' POP. How about telling us more about your rig; rifle, barrel, scope, etc., etc....

The action is a MK V blueprinted. The barrel is a #4 taper Pac-nor Stainless ultramatch, lapped and cryoed. The Stock is a special order McMillan and the action is steel bedded and pillar bedded. An elephant gun that shoots like a varminter. Best group so far with the 270 Failsafes is 0.155 at 100 yds. I had a leupold 3.5x10x40mm on it but replaced it with a 3x12x42mm Sightron for this long range stuff!
