My Tikka T3 hunter in 300 winmag{1-11 twist}really likes the 165gr bullets.i asked this same question on another forum and was lead to believe 178gr and lighter bullets will work better in a 1-11" twist barrel.I have a buddy with a Tikka M65 300 winmag and it is a 1-11" twist that also prefers 165gr bullets.
I really wanted to shoot 180gr bullets or heavier for the one load for all plan,if I knew that 1-11' barrels were a little finicky I would have bought another Remy like my other rifle.

the faster the twist the heavier the bullet the gun will stabalize..
