I'm looking for a recipe for long range shooting a 270 Winchester, 150 Nosler Balistic Tip bullet. I have the rifle, I am interested in loading a bullet. Any ideas? Thanks for your time. Pete

I load the 150 Partition in front of 56.0 IMR-4831. Fast (over 3000fps) and accurate. And very effective on elk.

The 270 is very easy to load. Pick any slow powder, and start loading YOUR rifle. As each rifle is different.

I have a 98 Custom Mauser. 28 inch barrel. It bleeds old school. I'll try both recipes and give reports. Do any of you have a favorite bullet?

H4350 / IMR4831 hard to beat in the 270 130-150 just find the right powder load.. RL-19 / H4831 is also a good powder for the 270 win

Historically 58 too 60 grs of H4831, has stood the test of time for ions! but RL-22 is darn good. Ray Atkinson Atkinson Hunting Adventures 10 Ward Lane, Filer, Idaho, 83328 208-731-4120 rayatkinsonhunting@gmail.com
