Is the Scirocco II more accurate that the original Scirroco? Is it worth getting the second generation bullet, if you still have some of the originals? This is what they claim: Swift Scirocco II– Long-Range Accuracy, All-Range Reliability. The NEXT GENERATION Scirocco II, with the Signature Black Tip™, has exactly the same profile, both inside and out. All load data and bullet specifications remain the same as the original. It is a superbly accurate and sleek hunting bullet designed for long-range efficiency. It carries velocity and energy downrange better than any previous hunting bullet while producing the flattest trajectory due to its high ballistic coefficient. A perfect match for long-range cartridges, the Scirocco II produces positive expansion at minimal velocity. The bonded core Scirocco II retains upward of 80 percent of its weight.

I called Swift about this "II" generation Scirocco and asked the difference. I'd say the answer was less than helpful. What I took from the conversation was that it is really the same exact bullet but the process in which it is made is slightly different. Probably something to do with the bonding. But they would not disclose the info. I've not noticed any difference whatsoever between originals and IIs. They shoot the same for me. Ted Kennedy's car has killed more people than my guns
