Anyone like H4350/140gr in thier 6.5x55?

Been using R22 and ive switched to H4831 with 140's, got some nice groups with h4831.

I just loaded some H4350 to try and see how it groups with my 22" barrel.

Checkin out the benchrest forum I see most guys use h4831 or H4350 with their 6.5-284's

I have used H-4350 in my 6.5 X55 and it shot well, That's with a 140gr. Speer SP. and 44.gr. of H-4350, I think top charge was 45gr. the primer was a fed. 210 LR.

I like H4350 and RL 19. Both work about the same in my rifle. I get sub MOA at about 3000 fps. Lou

I've used it (H4350) a bit with 85-100 grain bullets and had decent results. But most of my shooting is with 140s, and the lion's share of all my loading for various 6.5x55s entails Re-22 as no other powder has come close in terms of both velocity and accuracy with bullets in the 120-140 grain range.

While my bullet is the Northfork 120 grain, IMO either H (or IMR) 4350 is the powder of choice. It seems to fit like IMR-4831 in the .270!

I'm forever wed to Re22/140gr Interlocks in my 6.5 Swede. While I haven't tried H4350 in a 6.5x55, I would summize it would work well with 125-140 grain loads.

I second Swede6.5's load--140grainer over 44gr of H4350.
