How do you guys think the 155gr sierra palma bullets would do in a Savage with a 26" 1-in- 10" twist barrel? I Found a good deal on a few boxes of 500 count but i'm a little scared to drop the money on them not knowing how they will shoot. I tried to buy 100 off the guy to try but he did not go for it.

They will be over-stabilized which may cost you very slightly in accuracy. They are target bullets, are you hunting paper?

If you want them for target practice they will work fine.

They should shoot well for you . They work great in my FAL , very accurate and will shoot flatter than you would expect even with mild loads .

Yes they are for paper. I would like to try the 155's because I think i can get them closer to 3000 fps witch I think might help on shots over 500yd. I will pick up a box this week I think he said 75$ for 500.
