Well, it looks like the issue here is corrosion.

While bumping them with the seater tonight, I found that about a third of the cases had "toothpaste" green corrosion build-up in the exact same places where the one I fired gave way. Now, that's the strange part; I mean the EXACT same place on ALL affected rounds.

Looks like I'll be pulling bullets, after all. I am going to try to utilize the original powder and primers, though. Too bad I can't have that Peters headstamp, too.

I don't know about re-using the primers. For all they cost, I think I'd stick new ones in there, y'know? And, as for re-using the powder, remember the old adage about starting low and working up any time you change a component? You're using different cases and bullets, right?
