I've heard alot of people saying they like the autodisk but it won't charge large rifle so i figured i would let people know how i set mine up to charge large rifle cases. I use 2 disks using .95 and 1.09 holes and the micro disk is last(on bottom) I chose .95 (12.5grains) and 1.09(15grains) because they are the closest holes of same size so there is no ledge for powder to hang on giving me 27.5 grains of reloader 15. When i add the micro and adjust it for the remaining of 49 grains the hole is larger than the holes in the disks so it meters more evenly with nothing to hang on. If you put the micro on top and look through the hole you'll see alot of exposed surface of the disks due to the micro orfice being square so powder can hang in the corners. thats why i use the micro on bottom. To do this you have to add a notch to the top corner of the micro disk to accomodate the 4th slide lug of the round disk. I have never used the double disk kit, i made my own shims and got longer screws for the hopper and figured if it worked for me i'd look into the disk kit. Well it worked so well for me this way i just never changed it and just kept the shims i made. This is what mine looks like all together . It takes some thought to figure it out but once you write it in your log book it's easy to repeat quickly. Hope this helps ya out, like i said mine works really well like this | ||
