When starting this topic I never thought I "would be going where angels fear to tread!" Anyway, having looked at the pressures and looking at the powders I have available and talking to the experts (Sterkte, ouboet!!!!), I am comfortable going ahead (since I've already done it this is a bit of 20/20 hindsight!!!!!). I'll report back.

I have an old ideal reloading book that lists a lot of duplex loads. Most of them with a pistol then a rifle powder. I don't think the mixing powders as long as your mixing slower one with the faster one and using the faster data. You would run into trouble.

It seems to me what we have here is another example of what some refer to as mental masturbation. If I continue to follow this thread I'm afraid I might go blind.
