I have a 243 I want to load some 80gr TTSXs for. I have never loaded for the 243 so looking for some powder recommendations. I have Benchmark, Varget, CFE223, 4064, and 4350, and would prefer to keep within that if possible. Loads for 100-110 gr cup and core bullets would be useful as well. Use enough gun... Shoot 'till it's dead, especially if it bites.

In my sons rifle IMR4350 is king. I'd start around 40-41 grains and work my way up to 43 grains. Somewhere in there you will find something accurate, then play with the seating depth to fine tune the accuracy. Some people have great luck with 4064 powder but I tried and stayed with the IMR4350

Yep, IMR4350 for what you have, but 85 grains and under H414 is king for accuracy and velocity.

For my 243 shooting the 80 gr TTSX, I use Ramshot Hunter. My load is zipping along at 3415 fps. Snell will attest to the accuracy and lethality of this load on various whitetails, antelope and coyotes. Good luck! Graybird "Make no mistake, it's not revenge he's after ... it's the reckoning."

Thanks all, these are some great suggestions. This is enough to get started. Use enough gun... Shoot 'till it's dead, especially if it bites.
