What happens when you shoot 5-shot groups?

Given the limited input I would venture to guess...Bedding issues....usually

With my Mnt rifle the thin barrel heats up fast and bad. To keep the 3+ shot in the same hole or tight group I need to wait 30 minutes or more on a hot day. It will be within an inch or so but not tight. still plenty close enough for large game

I shoot sabots in my ML and I wait 30 mins between each shot when sighting it in. Heat tears the sabots up bad at high pressure

I ahd a pesky 300 Win Mag Model 70 that started doing that when I had the stock refinished without sending the whole rifle. I sent the gun to the stockmaker/artist in this case Chi Worthing and the rifle now shoots incredibly accurate. Chic if you're out there comments on the accuracy? jorge

I know there are many variables, but does the third round being a flyer when the first two are touching or almost touching each other mean anything in particular? I am waiting 5 minutes or more between rounds.
