Does anyone have any first hand experience with reloading dies from CH tool and die Co.from Mt. Vernon Ohio? They make dies for obsolete and uncommon calibers.

I am satisfied with my .375 Weatherby and 7.65x53 Belgian Mauser dies. The insides of the dies are finished as stated, very smooth and they are nice people to deal with.

I still have an old C&H sizing die for my 38 Special. I had no idea that they were still in business. My die must be 40 years old.

CH made a set of 416/404 dies for me a couple of years ago. They are excellent. The company is great to work with. My only complaint would be the length of time required to get the dies. Of course, they are the only custom dies that I have ever had made. I don't have another experience for comparison. I would highly recommend them. Ku-dude

I have a set of CH dies that came with my .358 Norma magnum. The dies seem to be as good as those others I have that came from RCBS. I don't much care for the chrome plating on the outside of the dies, though. The dies are now known as CH/4D. There is a web site for them, www.ch4d.com You might check it out.

I have a CH "Magnum" press that I got in l959. It still works just fine. All I ever did was replace the linkage pins for wear.

It is the only press that sits ON the bench instead of hanging over the edge like everybody elses.

Their dies are just fine too, and great people to talk with and get customer service.

I just got a neck expanding die from CH for helping to form my 375-284 Win. I'm impressed by the finish...and it works, too. The only thing is that I got someone else's receipt in my order for a set of .310 Cadet dies and a shellholder. I'll get dies from this guy from now on......

About 10 years ago I built my 338/378kt,
RCBS wanted $250 for dies and a wait.
CH had them at a Gun show for under $60
Very nice people and product.
