Just looking on Hornady's web site and I see no 220gr 8mm. The heaviest is a 195. I was hoping to use the 220 in an 8 Rem Mag I am putting together.

9point3.....I can't find them either (Midway doesn't list them anymore). I have two custom 8mm Mags that are set-up to shoot that bullet. If I find a place that has a large back-stock of 220s, I'll let you know.

According to the HORNADY HANDBOOK, 5th Edition, the 220gr 8mm bullet has been discontinued.

Along with that, count the .277" 150-gr. RN as a casualty, as well. That's Sierra AND Hornady. [Frown]

Emailed Hornady about the .277 150 gr bullets, they are NOT discontinuing them.

Steve,

If we are discontinuing the 270 cal.150gr bullets, no one has told us. We have plenty in stock and they are not listed as being obsolete.

Sierra dropped their 170 gr. RN for 7mm a few years back. Been lookin' for some ever since. Got lucky at a gun show and got 500 for $25.00. What can I say? I have a 7x57 mauser that thinks it's a semi-bench rest rifle with those bullets.
