I,m running out of 17HMR ammo and wont pay $12.50 a box asked at the local store. So i,m looking for a load using the 25Gr.bullet at 3200 th 3600 FPS in the 17 Remington. The 17 HMR works well out to about 180 Yds. so I dont see a need for 3800 FPS round in the 17 Rem. for spring P Dog pups.

Get your hands on a Lee Loading Manual #1. On pages 90 through 93 they talk about a $5 program you can send for. You can scale DOWN your loads to the velocity you want, using your currant powder.
