Probably. How long is this bullet? Use the Greenhill formula to figure it out!! [Big Grin]

I am thinking of getting a Tikka or CZ in 6.5X55, the Tikka being my first choice. Anyone have either?

155 Gr match from Sierra is not the best bullet from Sierra , design is old , quality is not outstanding , better to shoot the new 142 gr with a slighty highter velocity .

I have never get good accuracy with the 155 gr Sierra , but wish that Sierra rework the design to produce the ultimate hight BC bullet in 6.5 cal , new CAUERTICO in 130 gr range weight is 0.61 BC ( new finf on forum ) and the Clinch RIVER 144 gr bullet is over 0.6 too

enjoy 6.5 cal

Good shooting

Based on my Tikka 243 the Tikka Whitetail will be 0.5(or better)-1.0MOA out the box with no need for floating, bedding, trigger work or anything other than a 5 minute job with an allen key and a trigger pull guage(even that is not really necessary). The bolt is very slick indeed and you forget about the plastic trigger guard and mag in 5 minutes. It is a very nice rifle indeed especialy with some Talleys or Tikka factory mounts.

I don't know about the CZ but they are less popular over here I think.
