I can't get my MK V to shoot Partition Noslers but it loves the 100 gr. Sierra Pro Hunters. Has Anyone tried this combination on whitetails? I'm thinking I may need to keep looking. Thanks

It's gonna leave a big hole and put the deer down immediately. Not a good bullet for the texas heart shot but.....behind the shoulders.....the deer will be dead before it hits the ground.

This is the bullet I'd be using.

I am a big Nosler Partition fan and routinely shoot them in all my big game rifles. However, once in a while you get a rifle that just does not shoot well with them.

My new Remington 700XCR in 300 WSM does not shoot partitions worth a darn. Like your rifle, it shoots great with Sierra Pro Hunters.

You may want to try the Nosler Accubond in your rifle. My 300WSM that hates partitions shoots them quite well. My buddy has had great success with the 110 grain Accubond in his .257 Wby Mag. He shot an antelope with it this year in New Mexico at a measured 528 yards.

You owe it to yourself to at least try the 100 grs TSX. That bullet is just made for the .257 Wby!

Another vote for the 100 TSX. IF it sdoesn't shoot, then have your rifle checked out as that is a very accurate bullet. I've had good luck believe it or not with 100gr Hornadys as loaded in their factory stuff. As far as the Sierras, I wouldn't use them on anything but varmints or paper. jorge
