Today, 7 January, the New York Times Science section extensively covered the return of bighorn sheep, largely through translocation. The article credited hunters as "surprisingly" making up the majority of groups active in this work. It noted later experts' "worry" that this is unsustainable "If interest in hunting dwindles..." and best would be to get the public committed.
