Matt_GJust curious;
You a general A&P type mechanic or avionics or sheetmetal or...?
I worked aviation for 15 years before getting into IT.
Sheetmetal man. Worked at Lockheed Georgia for 2 years then went to Continental Airlines. Did all my work on narrow body C and D checks at Stapleton while working for Continental.

120mmI am a general A&P who is working on his FCC while learning metal and welding on my own hook. I am really fascinated with anything aviation.
My wife is a pilot, but I am not. I did get to fast taxi CRJs at Dulles, though. I've been on test flights as a flight engineer, though, which is kind of neat.
