One last leo story before I leave for ele hunting in the morning. Now those of you who have read about leo, no doubt have reservations of his sanity, or perhaps even of his existance. Well, to calm your nerves he does existing, and his sanity is, well he does exist. Anyway a bit ago leo was shooting a 3 gun IPSC match a couple hundred miles from home. The match was completed a bit early, and rather than staying around for a couple dozen brews, leo headed home.(most unusual for leo) As usual there was the thought in his mind that he might run into a kill crazy crat on the way, so he left his 45, AR15, and 870 on the seat next to him. loaded of course, because the crat might get away otherwise. He wasn't worried about the locked and loaded condition, because he does have his CCW permit. What happened however, was, totally beyond his control. It seems as there was a shooting of a highway patrolman along the highway leo was traveling on. About an hour after the shooting had cleared way, leo happened along the seen, going a mere 15 miles over the speed limit. Of course with his normal "luck" he was pulled over by the highway patrol. One look into leos truck was all that was necessary for the officer to be sure he had his man. There was no doubt whatsoever that he had just caught the guy who just shot a fellow officer. Leo was dragged, most unceremoniously, out of his truck and handcuffed to the rear bumper, in such a way that his rear end was sticking out into the traffic lane of the freeway. Now to fully appreciate this sight, one has to picture leo. His appearance is not only that of a small gorilla, but the build is similar, and of course the jeans are worn low enough to reveal a new cleavage. Said cleavage was bent over & out in the traffic, and so it remained until the arrival of several more police cars. leo was escorted to the nearest calabose, where his identity and background was checked. It took til morning to clear him. How about his CCW permit you may ask? Well that of course was at home, in his billfold, along with his drivers license etc. He had to drive back up the next day to show his permit and reclaim his cratblasters.

The brain does not fail all at once under the influence of ale, no, it is only the important parts that fade first.

Good luck on your trip!
