Took an acquaintence to the range today so he could sight in his Model 94 Trapper in .357 Mag. Only took a little hammering on the rear sight and he was punching paper at 50 yards ok. When he used up his box of ammo I gave him three boxes of ammo I'd loaded on 6-22-79 for a .38 Spcl. I was surprised they shot as well as they did. Well, now I feel better about my long range plans...

Then I shot my .44 Mag with 3 year old paper patch loads, and was pleased to see they still group well. Sometimes the lube migrates thru the paper and contaminates the powder, but not on these loads. Card wads rule! Shot 3 groups of about 1" at 50, then let my friend try it. I was immediately informed that it kicks way too much and I really didn't need such a powerful gun, did I? Confused

Then I shot my new 94/22M for the first time. For some reason the bore sighting I did failed, so back to the 25 yard line to find paper. I adjusted the optics thru the first 3 shots back on the 50 yard line, leaving a 2" Group that nicely framed the next 3 that plunked into a .361" group. Shifted to a fresh area of the target and shot one of .472" for 3 shots. Let the friend try it and he did one just a hair over 1/4 inch. All in all I'm pleased with the gun, and not the least surprised. That model and WW JHPs has always been a shooter in my hands.

My only question is, do you prefer the left or right eye of the crat as it glows in the failing light of sunset? I like to help ferals come to terms with life without balls after the bunny huggers fix 'em up, and I'd hope somebody would do the same for me, if I were neutered by some lunatic twit. thumb

Dan,

Pop them in which ever eye they wink at you with. You are truely doing the ferals a favor. Killing them that is after the waccos mutalate them instead of just finishing them off. Not to mention all of the birds they will not kill, after they wink at you. mgun
