It's good you live in Idaho. If you did that in the southern reaches of the Windy State you'd catch a bunch of Haitians doing their voodoo rituals.... Dan POTYHC http://www.ThereIsNoForceMorePowerfulThan.Ignorance If yuro'e corseseyd and dsyelixc can you siltl raed oaky? |

| Best of luck! If it is cold out, put out your warm left-overs. That steaming meal draws them in almost instantly. Keep us updated. |

| UUhh , usein some fresh chicken skin ,caught a big mean orange striped lion. He growls and hissis when I get close. Think he was tellin me to take him out for target practice. I had a sprong trap the night before, no kitty. Theres alot of others around , a few blacks, some brown striped real wild lookin ones , and more. Ill put the trap caged lion in my pickup in the morening and bring my CZ 223 . Give him a sporting chance out in a open field. Then do some quail hunting. |

| If you guys who run trap lines need to dispatch your incedental catches quietly, the plastic bag over the trap and hooked up to the car exhaust works very well. I have used this metthod and one winter so many times we got to refering to it as the "Accord Auchwitz"! derf

| Well crap , as soon as I opened the trap door out in a open field some car came driveing over the hill toward me right as the crat bolted out . The car threw me off, I was thinkin it was a cat lover . The cat took off I still got about 4 shots off with my 22 but I had reliesed it near some thick sage and it got away ,because I was worried about the people watchin me. No biggy, Ill catch another tonight ![beer](http://resoattitude.free.fr/phpBB2/images/smiles/icon_beer2.gif) |

| In this forum, when I was wolfer,I expounded the use of 220 conibears on field lions. It is the trap of choice.Use cardboard boxes for cubbies, cut slots for the springs to slide into, bait with Friskies cat food, either Salmon or Whitefish.I have wiped out the local field lion population with this method. The look on their faces when you take their stiff bodies out of the 220 is priceless.Wide eyed and open mouthed!!!I have to go sharpen my knife. |

| Trapped a yellow one with a collar but let it go , maybe nieghbors kids cat. Trapped one of the black ones the next night, took him out and reliesed him and got a good 75 yd lung/heart shot with the 22. He floped around and I put another one in his head. 100s more left to go. |

| I think one of the little girls accross my road adobted one of the ferel cats, I saw them playing with some kitten . So i let that one go , but if I catch one with 14crt diamond collar with solid gold buckle thats a different story. Last year I was out back seraching for a old part or something on a old work table covered with leaves and was hissed at and suprised by a ferel that made a nest full of kittens, under my outside work bench. We got lots more targets ![Big Grin](https://forums.accuratereloading.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif) |
