I think these forums are redundant and should be merged: CATS, SMALL GAME, HUMOR, FUN SHOOTING.

Might as well roll in reloading, beheading, ATV/PU, inventing, and more too!

Betcha those among us, us being the "Brothelhood of Cratsmakers Anonymouse" spend more time crackin' caps than most of the other heads that visit the site. I wager a day on the flats chasing Reds with an 8wt., who wants some of that? Confused I wouldn't mind combining several of the forums as long as those finding themselves so abducted wouldn't get all self absorbed and weepy about bustin' crat's asses.

Is that on the flat urban surface slinging 8 oz. weights for red crats or fishing?

I'm partial to saltwater assasins and gold spoons for redfish...

...and no bet either!

CDH, well that would be the Seussian thing of course. "One fish, two fish, redfish, bluefish." I'll leave the 8 oz. weights on the urban flats to Hogkiller. Wink

Personally I think the 8 weight flyrod a bit light for crats, but they are a wonder to behold on Bones 'n Reds, and other creatures of the shallows. Once tangled with a 40# plus Cobia(Ling to some) on such a rig with an 8# tippet, what a fun day that was! Cool

Actually Dan, they are 28oz ea. Wink They should work great on urban "flats". Will probably get 3-4 flats with each cast roflmao Maybe more depending on angle of presintation, etc., etc.

Maybe change the name to "The Accurate Reloading for Cats Forums" too. Have a .25-20 for cats topic, one for cast bullits for cats, best tires and suspension set up for cat flattening, flintlocks for primitive cats, the pretty pussy picture posting place, an ask the experts area, lots of opportunities here, huh?

NS, with all these possibilities it almost makes one want to start another web site. Wonder if we could get Genghis to moderate? bewildered

Sorry guys, I got off on this merge thing when I found the "CATS" forum and found out they like cats. I do too, but not for the same reasons. I feel much more comfortable sharing feelings about cats in this forum. My wife can tell if I see a cat by watching my trigger finger to see if it is wiggling in anticipation. The only other critter that I react to like that is a possum which is almost as annoying an animal. At least most people don't keep possums as pets.

I've seen the Red Green show once. I've known a lot of people like that. I don't know anything about the possum connection. Enlighten me.

I rather liked the series about the youngsters who started the cattle ranch in the great northwest. And the scene where they ran the small herd over a cat.

How about Stargate SG1. That show won several awards internationally. Or even Andromeda. Or maybe you don't go for Sci-Fi! Wink derf

I don't care for Andromeda but the wifey and me are loyal followers of SG-1. I keep hoping against all hope that Amanda will tell Jack to employ the "secret weapon" against the Goa'uld, the one used by the Ancients. The one where they tossed all the crats thru the stargate that was dialed to Anubis' battle cruiser. Same thing with pigs would work for OBL too.

It really isn't that big of a deal but while out wandering around near a local fishing pond I came across the gate set up for a shoot in a sand pit. It was a minor thrill! Big Grin derf
