I was at the store today, seen a friend of mine buying a bunch of canned tuna. I asked him if he liked tuna? He said not really but he had a tabby infestation in his barn, and he needed some bait to draw them out in the open. Being the tabby terminator that I am, I offered my assistance. He opened several cans of tuna and placed them in the barn in various locations. It was'nt long before they started comming out after the bait. My friend tells me hurry and shoot'em before they get to the tuna! Four more eliminated! The closest one to the tuna was about five feet from it. After it was said and done I asked why we had to shoot before they got to the tuna? He said his wife was making tuna casorole for supper and he did'nt want to go back to the store for more tuna! He took the cans back in the house dumpped them in a bowl and tells his wife, "I got your tuna honey, I even opened it and put it in a bowl for ya!" I thought the whole thing was funny, had to turn down his invite to dinner though. I shot two of them with my .17HMR, aint positive but I think there was more then tuna in that bowl!
