My neighbor the cat lover was showing her little girl how to pack for a camping trip. They have a small SUV (small useless vehicle) so she bought a bunch of the storage bags that you connect to your vacuum cleaner to suck the air out and make the contents compress to save space. She doesn't yet know my attitude about cats so we are on speaking terms. Her household vacuum wasn't doing the job so I loaned her my heavy duty shop vac. She was showing her daughter how the vacuum storage bags work while they were packing for their trip. I went in the house for a beer and came back out to see the little girl giving the vacuum bags a try. Her mom had gone inside for some more camping things. The girl was being distracted by her new kitten for awhile but then concentrated on filling a bag and compressing it with the shop vac. The mom came back out and was complimenting the little girl on her efforts until she realized what was in the bag - one very suffocated kitten. The woman screamed while the little girl yelled "Mommy, Mommy, what's wrong???" I rushed over and cut the bag open with my pocket knife, but it was too late. They later had a funeral in their back yard for the kitten. I toasted the little girl's efforts with a beer. I guess I had better sharpen my pocket knife. It took a long time to cut that bag open. RELOAD - ITS FUN!

Great story, when do they get rid of the slow, ugly vehicle? All that's gold does not glitter. Not all those who wander are lost. --J.R.R. Tolkien Never express yourself more clearly than you can think. --Niels Bohr
