Hey guys, i just bought this rifle and was wondering how many of you have them and how they shoot for you, and also what ammo and grain shoots the best out of yours. Thanks Bill.

I have a Marlin 882 that I put a Rifle Basix trigger in, and that really helped. Mine likes the Win Super-X 40 gr HPs the best, and I have tried most of the brands, weights and styles out there. Each rifle, though, is a law unto itself as far as what it will like.

It pays to experiment a bit. I found my 982VS did not like CCI ammo. My best results are with Winchester Supreme 34gr JHP or Super-X 40gr JHP, and Federal Game-Shok 50gr JHP.
