Anyone been out after quail yet?

How is the population this year?

It seems like there was some improved spring rains...

Hi, I have hunted quail there for years. th Az dept of F&G will not tell you shit .I have hunted in the San Carlos Reservation and had some great hunting. Now you havve to have a guide in the best areas,/D/ There is great hunting close to Elfrida. talk to the local chamber of congress or nearest USFS office. Jim

I'm headed that way in mid-January with my wife and dogs. Any pointers ( forgive the pun ) for locations to begin a hunt would be appeciated. We'll enter from Parker, then travel south to Cochise to visit friends, hunting along the way.

You guys are making me more and more homesick for AZ.

My wife and I are going to hunt Arizona in January. Any pointers as to loctions to begin our hunt would be greatly appreciated. Please PM me with any tips.

We went out about 3 weeks ago. Carefree az area,lots of birds. I Ask my brother every weekend to go back but he is always busy. So he says lol. Anyone want to go quail hunting? Tired of waiting for my brother.

When things wind down here in Wa. I'm driving down there for the first time this year. That will not be until Jan though.

Nice! I love hunting desert quail in the fall/early winter. Beats just about everything else, except hunting dangerous game in Africa!
