Anyone been out after quail yet?

How is the population this year?

It seems like there was some improved spring rains...

I'm headed that way in mid-January with my wife and dogs. Any pointers ( forgive the pun ) for locations to begin a hunt would be appeciated. We'll enter from Parker, then travel south to Cochise to visit friends, hunting along the way.
PM's gladly accepted!

Nice! I love hunting desert quail in the fall/early winter. Beats just about everything else, except hunting dangerous game in Africa! tu2
