Cats and squirrel be different critters, and require different approaches. Wolfer already has this wired, you may recall his 5-stand Cat game? What you do is put a 24" piece of 4" PVC on the throwing arm, stuff your calico in it and pull. Welding gloves recommended for live ones, otherwise not.
