While traveling through Nebraska one summer I stopped at a very rural feed store just to buy a soda. While inside I saw a sign for a veterinarian that had office hours on Monday's only. Next to the sign was a price list for services. For euthanasia he charged various prices. The price for cats was odd, it was only two cents. I asked the feed store clerk why only two cents for cats. He said that is all a .22 shell costs. I handed the guy a dollar and he asked what that was for. I told him fifty cats. RELOAD - ITS FUN!

The area probably has an abundance of feral cats. Maybe $0.02 is all the market will bear. I would prefer to believe the Vet is making a statement about his dislike for cats, but I think the market issue is also a possibility. Nice of you to contribute, mabye now a destitute rancher can finally afford to do something about that cat infestation. -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-* When I mention a cartridge, the rifles involved: 22LR Cooey SingleShot | 22 Hornet 40sCZ | 223Rem CZ 527 Varmint 30-06 Husqvarna Sporter | 300 WinMag A-BoltII S/S BOSS | 458 WinMag Ruger #1
