No, I'm not going to take it to Africa. I want to shoot ground squirles with it and I don't have anything with small bullets. So, I thought I would take a break from loading 375 H&H and load up some 80 grain TTSX for the 250 Savage. The load data I have calls for a Federal 210 primer which I can't find. What would be comparable?

Any large rifle primer will work just fine.

I've been down loading my .257 Roberts with 9grn of Red Dot and 90grn Sierra hpbt, should be getting around 1600fps. I was just looking for a back yard plinking load, possible groundhogs at garden range stuff.

Basically made a 25-20 out of my 257R.
