Ok time for another story. There is a local arguement about who is the worst cratblaster around, me or leo. Well this is leo at his best/worst. There is a small bar & grille a few miles out of town that leo frequents. Well, maybe frequents frequently often etc. In any case the owners have a large crat. This beast is large, very large, and it (was) allowed more or less a free hand running around the establishment. You can well imagine the terror leo saw, while consuming his nominal brew, the crat jumps up onto the bar. Well a guy can take just so much. It seems that after closing time the owner would let the crat outside on a leash tied to the front door. Leo in normal fashion, being somewhat, shall we say, happy, at the time and having been terrorized by the crat, waited outside in the parking lot, Hiding. Sure enuf, closing time arrived and the crat was put outside on his leash. Well a 22 really doesn't make to much noise, and when the bar owner opened the door, there was his crat, just sort of lying there in a pool of blood. The owner was irate to say the least, even to the point of putting an article in the newspaper condeming the act of whosoever villian would perpetrate such an hidious deed to his poor crat. Needless to say noone has ever found the villan

You gotta long way to go to top popping a bar owners tied up crat after tying one on at the said bar!!! sofa

Believe nothing, no matter where you read it, or who said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense.

Well, I think that leo just wanted to be able to have a drink in a "clean" bar. thumb You know, one without crat crap tracked all over the serving area. thumbdown Not to mention all of the puss's shed hair every where. thumbdown While I do not condone "alkihol & ammo" mixing, leo did make a clean shot. beer

Booo Hisss thumbdown

You guys will probably roast me for this and Danno will want to throw my carcass to Big Al, BUT, I don't think that was right killing the animal tethered and kept on its owners property.

shame There are lots of places one can eat and drink if they don't like a crat running around the place. Here you have a responsible owner...wow.

Ferals don't make it on my property to say the least, but far be it for me to outright kill someones pet kept on their own property. All the bitching here, including mine, concerns trespassing lawn lynxes and the damage they do.

I hope Leo doesn't do something like that again.

You are right Ann. If you don't like the way a man keeps a bar you don't go there again. You don't shoot his cat.

I truly without a shadow of a doubt really hate crats. But this man so loved his crat that he kept it contained in the confines of his own estate,,and tethered when outside,,,he truly loved that thing and did everything in his power to keep it safe, and have some fresh air.He is the most responsible crat owner I have ever read/heard of,,,and as much as I dislike them,,Your drunken idiot had no right to do what he did,Typing with a tear of remorse,Clay

I never thought I would say this, but there ARE some people who should not be allowed to possess a gun!

Put your nose to the grindstone, your belly to the ground, and your shoulder to the wheel. Now try to work in that position!

I agree with Annie too, but note that the entire scenario brings new meaning to the idea of last call for drinks and sharks. Guys do some strange things at the last minute, sometimes they just do strange. Eeker I gotta wonder if the bar owner was just simple minded or a deeply disturbed sicko. bewildered
