My setup

At a freinds trailer , in a large Moble home park .
I sat boxs in a dumpster so the top box was level with the top .
Sat a dollar store can of cat food on the top box .
I blocked up the lid ( steel ) at a 45 drgree angle to deflect any misses into the dumpster .

We shot 5 or 6 cats the firs hour , all clean kills , that fell into the dumpster , no clean up .

But it was time for me to head home , it was 2 AM .
A big long hair jumped up and started to eat .
I bet my freind I could bounce a 22 off the lid and hit the cat , for a beer .

When I pulled the trigger and all HELL broke loose .
The bullet had broken up as it hit the lid and fraged the cat .
It was flopping around in the dumpster , making a racket that would wake the dead .
We ran to the dumpster , He opened both lids and shined the light inside .
It took 3 shots with CCI CB Longs out of my Rem. pump 22 to finish it off .
We quickly threw bags of trash on the dead cats .
Just in time , several lights came on as we walked quickly away .
We retired to his trailer so I could drink the beer he owed me .

Boy was that fun .
But we both agreed to wait till they empty the dumpster before we do it again .

The bank shot was a sucker bet .
The lid was on a 45 degree angle .
So it was not as hard as it sounds .
Simple math and a accurate 22

Several of my freinds neibors ask if he had seen their cats .
He said it was everything he could do not to laugh.

Yes the beer was great .
But it felt warm , it was 8 degrees and we were freezing our nutz off .
Anything after that would feel warm .


BTW I picked up 2 bricks of CCI CB longs tonight , so we will have enough ammo for a few more times of target practice
