A note for you folks here.

I would be remiss in not mentioning the support I had from you all over the past months. I am truly a lucky man to have such good friends that I have never met. I am of the mind set that if I were with anyone of you, you would have my back as I would have yours. My wife in passing has opened up my mind more than when my brother or mother died. I lost a wife a hunting and fishing partner a mother and a leader. Most of all I lost my best friend. I Must tell you that even people I have pissed off on this site were very very supportive and I do appreciate that. As you know “DoeInHeat†tried to take up a collection for me. I do think she meant well but I do not take from others but only try to give. ( A side note to Dennis.... She will blow your socks off but you have no chance ). ((That was between me and him.)) BTW. Has anyone heard from him? I am glad to say that we did not except any “donations†and will not( unless Saeed wants to contribute ). You guys have been the greatest and I know you will stay that way. To let you know - Me and the kids with all the other animals are doing well and with friends like you always will. Friendship is #1 in GI book as you know. I again state that Hunters - Shooters - fishermen - and outdoors men/women make the world a better place in which to live our lives. You are true honest and unwearying in your lives. I would love to write a novel on all of you all over the world, on how you unite behind ones misfortunes but have not the time nor the verbiage to do it justice.
I salute you all and hope you and everyone you know carries on this tradition.

Read about your loss awhile back. Never a good thing to hear about. Sorry for you loss. I have buried many relatives and a few friends in the past few years. It doesn't get easier. My heart sinks when I hear of someone else experiencing a loss. Life is about the people in it. The material things just don't count in comparison. I hope that returning to the forum is a beneficial form of therapy. After reading a couple of your posts it is obvious that you could use some therapy. We could hold a group therapy session with guys from the forum but I think the crossfire might be dangerous. A lot of itchy trigger fingers in this group. With our luck a cat would walk into the center of the group and before anyone realized what was happening several of us would be wounded and the cat would be very dead.
