Especially after getting a lead enema in the form of a Texas Heart Shot from Dan's 550-1 with CB Longs. I watched the little shit from 150 yards come sauntering through the trailerpark, marking trailers and looking for a free meal. He was working his way up to the dumpster, which some jerk closed the lid on, right before he go there. So, he cuts between my trailer and my neighbors. I had to skeedadle from my blind in the bathroom to the kitchen. Luckily, there was a hole already in the screen, so I just needed to lift the window, carefully, and aim. At first, I didn't have a clear shot, but then the porch panther walked clear of the trailer. I aimed right at his rib cage, but at the last minute, he turned, presenting the now famous "Texas Heart Shot". The tail jerked and went straight in the air, and he obliged me in the disposal effort by running under the neighbor's house prior to expiring. So far, two shots, two kills, and both lawn lions conducted self-disposal. I wonder if this is just me being rewarded for clean living, or if this is the way Florida cats oblige by being neighborly? Perhaps there should be a multi-million dollar study funded by the gov't. I'd be glad to help out in any way I could. | ||
