That sounds like an attitude check to me, a truthful one.

Then there's the sexual attitude check: I hate f***ing crats.

And, the Norman Vincent Peale (author of The Power of Positive Thinking) attitude check: I absolutely know I hate crats.

And, any number of other varieties of attitude checks. I would imagine DD and many others of this forum could add their own.
