This story goes back a couple of year ago when we were out in montana shooting PD's. Our contact is a local animal vet who enjoys varmits etc. Anyway he relays the story of a ex marine who was living in their small town next to a lady who had cats. The guy used to be on the marine pistol team so was a more than just a passing shot. He could take just so much of the crats crapping all over his car, lawn, etc. so one night the vet gets a call from the local policeman that he has to go to his office and preform an autopsy. He gets there and here is one of the lady's cats. Well knowing full what had happened he proclaimed that the cat had died in the street due to rubber tire disease, while covering up the 22 cal. hole between the eyes. The lady still wasn't satisfied and depanded further testing. Yup, he says definately rubber tire disease. Later when he meets the marine he asked him why in the hell did he throw the dead cat out in the street in front of her house rather than taking it out in the country or the like. Simple the marine replied. He didn't want the old gal to have to out looking all over hell for her cat, that ran away.

Sometimes honor and common sense collide head on. Semper Fi to the vet and the Jarhead's shootin', hope he has put his Boy Scout training aside regarding crat owners. Dan Pres., TYHC www.ItCharged.TheSemi If yuro'e corseseyd and dsyelixc can you siltl raed oaky?
